Privacy policy
Last updated Oct 28, 2026
High Realm Books is a small, independent book-deals site. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell personal information.
What we collect
Newsletter. When you sign up, the form sends your email address straight to our email provider, Kit. New subscribers get both newsletters (daily deals and the Friday best-of); we keep track of which ones you've turned off. You confirm by email before you're added (double opt-in).
Kit records whether emails are opened and which links are clicked. We use those totals to choose better books, not to profile you.
Author submissions. If you submit a book, we keep what you send (your name, email and book details) to review and run your promotion, and to tell you about future promotion options.
Emails to us. If you write to us, we keep the message so we can reply.
Why we use it
Only to send what you asked for: newsletters you signed up for, replies to your emails, and promotions you submitted. You can withdraw your consent anytime by unsubscribing or writing to us.
Who else handles it
- Kit stores our subscriber list and sends our emails. See Kit's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts this site and forwards email sent to our addresses. It may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability.
These providers may store data outside your country, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
Subscriber data stays until you unsubscribe, after which Kit keeps only what it needs to make sure you aren't emailed again. Author submissions and emails are kept while they're useful to us, and deleted on request.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own, and the signup form loads no third-party scripts.
This site uses no analytics or tracking scripts.
Links to stores
When you click a link to Amazon or another store, that site may set its own cookies. Their privacy policies apply once you leave this site.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask for a copy. Write to [email protected] and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Our newsletters are not meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. If a change affects how we use your email, we'll tell subscribers by email first.
